had two encounters yesterday while drinking with yap at kopitiam...

(1) a table with 4 or 5 indian men hihihaha very loudly... we just reached, i was about to take the table beside them (cos nearer to tv, can watch soccer), when one of them flung his glass onto the table, walked over and grabbed his friend's shirt by the collar... started to shout and threaten him with his fist... nabe, typical indians - like to drink and make trouble... by this time i already tactically shifted my way further back and me and yap were already occupying a further table enjoying the live 'suria drama' in front of us :p

(2) the match was thailand v.s indonesia. alot of old grandfathers, fathers, fathers' sons, sons' fathers and so on were there watching.. soccer really is a common language, we saw the 'sons' category people engaging in conversations with the 'fathers' category and vice versa... more shocking was one grandfather was able to say that Peter Reid used to manage Sunderland in the Premier League... Wooooo... but all good things must come to an end, and when the end did come in the form of the final whistle, everyone just walked off in their own directions sibei fast... reality.
